Shini Jose

I am making this site in honour of Shini Jose who died in tragic circumstances on Friday June 1st 2007. She was hit by a heavy goods lorry whilst crossing the road with her two small children. Eight year old son Joel and four year old Jiya,both children witnessed the horror of thier mummy being ran over and killed instantly. Jiyas buggy with Jiya still inside went under the lorry but miraculously the little girl escaped somehow. Shini fought hard when she came to england to gain qualifications that were suitable for her to realise her dream and become a nurse. It took her only 6 months to gain the qualifications she needed and became a registered nurse,she got a job in a care home in petersfield and was a very special lady to all the staff and residents there. The people of Portsmouth have taken this lady to thier hearts and a huge shrine has built up at the spot where she died. Shinis death has caused the people of Portsmouth to call for a ban on lorries using this busy main road. Some people have said that Shini was seen pushing her children away from the lorry,but that is unclear. I do not know you Shini,but this story has touched the hearts of so many. May you rest in peace now. My love goes out to your Husband Jose,your son Joel,your little girl Jiya and all the other members of your family xxxx
